Ambiance is awesome. Huge ceilings and scale with the vibe of an upscale Cancun hot spot. Decor is beautiful with all the palm trees. Open air towards the river was perfect for this summer night....

I stopped by Gitano for drinks with a friend. It has a unique jungle like themed vibe inside. The food and drinks are not bad. They were able to accommodate for a nut allergy. I would stop by again.

The original Gitano on Governors Island is hard to beat but the vibes at South Street Seaport are reaching for that status. Bar seats are uncomfortable and drinks were pretty basic for running...
