The Green Emporium, once a beloved restaurant in Colrain, MA, has been closed since 2012. It was operated by executive chef Michael Collins and his partner, neon artist Pacifico Palumbo, who transitioned from their successful gallery in Greenwich Village to the picturesque setting of Colrain in 1991.
Originally a cooperage purchased in 1969, the space has since evolved into The Barrel Shop Gallery, showcasing the artistic talents of its owners. Michael Collins' culinary legacy and Pacifico Palumbo's fine canvas art continue to reflect their shared passion for creativity and community.

Lots of Options for a deli. Good variety. Cleanliness is what you'd expect. Nothing to really complain about. I did like that they had 2 registers available for check out.
If you're staying at the Civilian the Green Emporium is easily accessible (out to the left and immediately around the corner). I have been to the shop twice now and both times were pleasant....
