Located in a beautiful, residential neighborhood in Manhattan on the Upper West Side, you'll find charm, comfort, and convenience here. We offer both private and shared accommodations. In 2022, our entire place was refreshed! The common lounge, dining area, kitchen, and garden offers an inviting space to relax and connect. 1/2 block to Central Park, restaurants, cafes, shops, and the subway. Museums, iconic sites, food markets and other amenities nearby. For 70 years, our nonprofit hostel has hosted travelers from across the US and around the world. While we welcome travelers of all ages, guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult and reside in a private room.

Really liked it here, everything worked out fine. It is just a hostel and so should be your expectations. Do not set them to high. The area of the hostel is one of the best I have ever been in NYC.

This is by far the worst hostel I have stayed in, and I can only advise you to look elsewhere. I was booked in for ten nights as I had business in NYC but left after two in order to find somewhere...

Okay for a hostel. Kinda glad this wasn't the first hostel I experienced. The guy at the front desk was friendly and let me know all rules. Fair warning, NO elevator and the rooms are small....
