He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from New York University (NYU) and completed his M.D. at NYU School of Medicine. After three years of surgical residency at NYU Medical Center, he trained in Interventional Radiology through a fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Cornell, serving as Chief Resident.Dr. Pua’s clinical practice includes a wide range of image-guided therapies such as embolization, stent placement, tumor ablation, biopsy, and vascular access. His focus areas include pediatric interventions and minimally invasive cancer therapy, with particular expertise in thoracic tumors.He co-founded a multidisciplinary vascular anomalies team that provides coordinated, longitudinal care for patients with hemangiomas, arteriovenous malformations, venous anomalies, and lymphatic disorders.As Director of the Lung Cancer Screening Program, Dr. Pua has streamlined diagnostic and therapeutic pathways for pulmonary nodules, accelerating access to curative treatment. Dr. Odom was born and raised on the Upper West Side and attended The Dalton School. She matriculated at Washington University in St. Louis for college, where she studied Biology, with a focus on Neuroscience, and graduated with honors. She returned to New York upon graduation and worked as a high school teacher prior to beginning medical school. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and stayed to complete her residency at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Upon completing her training in general pediatrics, Dr. Odom joined Weill Cornell Medicine. She has a vast array of interests in general pediatrics and is particularly interested in preventative care. As a Certified Lactation Counselor, Dr. Odom is additionally passionate about assisting families who want to breastfeed.
