Jason Patrick Hochfelder, MD - Northwell Orthopedics at Tarrytown

Dr. Lee is an ABOS board-certified fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon. He graduated medical school from Brown university. He performed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Columbia University in New York, NY and followed with a fellowship in Spine Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.Dr. Lee has authored numerous publications and has presented at orthopedic meetings both nationally and internationally. His clinical interests include degenerative conditions of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, minimally invasive spine surgery, motion sparing disc replacements, spinal deformity, trauma, revision surgery and spine tumors/infections.Dr. Lee has conducted extensive research in the field of spine surgery and continues to actively do so. His research interests include intervertebral disc regeneration, minimally invasive spinal surgery, spinal navigation and robotics. He is an active member of North American Spine Society (NASS), American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and Lumbar Spine Research Society (LSRS).Dr. Lee has served as the Chief of spine surgery at Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY since 2018 and will serve as the Director of minimally invasive spine surgery as well. Dr. Lee has been integral in the development of the Phelps Spine Institute that provides comprehensive spinal care for the community.Dr. Lee's treatment philosophy has always been to treat each patient as one of his own family members. He believes in providing accurate diagnosis, thorough conservative treatments, and the most tailored surgical solution to patients so they may return to a quality of life that they enjoy.

Dr. Jonathan Salandra is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and hip preservation. He cares for patients of all ages and has a particular focus on treating sports-related injuries of the hip, shoulder, and knee. A native of Westchester County, Dr. Salandra attended the Hackley School, where he played both basketball and baseball. He continued his athletic pursuits at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, competing in the same sports. His passion for athletics ultimately inspired his career in orthopedic sports medicine. Dr. Salandra earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and completed his residency at Rutgers-Jersey City Medical Center. He went on to pursue a sports medicine fellowship at Yale, specializing in arthroscopic procedures of the hip, knee, and shoulder. During his fellowship, he served as the team physician for Sheehan High School football in Wallingford, CT, and provided game coverage for various Yale athletic teams. Having grown up in Westchester, Dr. Salandra is dedicated to enhancing orthopedic care in the community and is passionate about giving back. His research focuses on outcomes of hip arthroscopy in patients with femoroacetabular impingement. Outside of work, Dr. Salandra enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid golfer.

Dr. Christopher V. Wilhelm is originally from Long Island and is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder surgery. He completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, where he also played collegiate baseball-an experience that shaped his passion for sports medicine and helping others return to peak performance. He went on to earn a Master of Health Science degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health before obtaining his medical degree from the University at Buffalo. Dr. Wilhelm completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Yale Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation / Yale New Haven Hospital, followed by advanced fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City.During his time at HSS, Dr. Wilhelm was privileged to care for professional athletes, including serving as one of the team doctors for the New York Mets. This high-level experience sharpened his skills in managing complex shoulder injuries and deepened his commitment to delivering elite-level care to every patient he treats.Dr. Wilhelm is passionate about treating shoulder conditions across all ages-from adolescent athletes to individuals in their 90s with arthritis or degenerative disorders. He leverages the latest surgical techniques and cutting-edge preoperative planning software to provide personalized, precise care tailored to each patient's goals.Now practicing in Westchester, Dr. Wilhelm is proud to bring world-class care to his community-offering academic-level expertise in his patients' own backyard.
