Michael Costanzo, APN comes from a family of nurses, which attracted him to the field of healthcare. He believes that helping guide patients to better health really makes a difference in peoples' lives. Mr. Costanzo's area of expertise as a nurse practitioner is currently in dermatology with five years' previous experience as a nurse in emergency medicine.His philosophy on successful patient care is to treat patients as he would want to be treated and ensure that the patient receives excellent education about acute, chronic conditions and preventative care. He believes in giving ample time for each patient's visit so they feel like a person, rather than a number."It's very satisfying to know I've helped a patient understand how to take care of their skin, reverse skin damage and prevent further skin damage", says Mr. Costanzo. He believes in educating the community about sun safety and long-term skin care to keep skin healthy and looking great well into the future.When not practicing dermatology, he enjoys spending time with his children, especially watching them play in little league. He and his family are also passionate about helping those affected by war, participating in clothing and supply drives.
