Joanna K. Weeks, M.D., is a radiologist specializing in Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Imaging and Therapy. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine in the Division of Interventional Radiology and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell. Dr. Weeks joined the Weill Cornell faculty in 2024 after completing her residency and fellowships in Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Imaging and Therapy at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She served as Chief Fellow in Nuclear Radiology from 2022 to 2023. In 2023, she was recognized for her commitment to delivering patient-centered care with the Pendergrass Quality & Safety Award. In 2024, she received a POWERS Award for her exemplary work advancing the status of women in radiology. She earned her M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2018 and completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2019.Dr. Weeks is passionate about providing patient-centered care in radiology. She is interested in establishing longitudinal care relationships with patients, especially in oncology, oncology-related pain, lymphatics, portal hypertension, and dialysis access. Her research interests in nuclear imaging include novel tracers in oncology and lymphatics and hybrid approaches to care utilizing non-invasive infusion and interventional techniques. She is actively involved in teaching and mentorship and in advancing the goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine.

Olga Laur, M.D.

Laura B. Madsen, M.D. is a fellowship-trained radiologist with specialization in Breast Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.Dr. Madsen graduated from Harvard University where she earned her B.A. in History and Science in 2011. She was awarded her M.Sc. in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2012. She earned her M.D. at New York Medical College in 2016.Following an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Mount Sinai West, Dr. Madsen completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at NYU Langone Hospital- Long Island in 2021, where she was elected and served as Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship in Breast Imaging at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in June 2022. Dr. Madsen joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in October 2022 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.Dr. Madsen's clinical expertise is in Breast Imaging. She interprets a variety of studies including mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI and performs breast interventional procedures including stereotactic breast biopsies, ultrasound guided breast biopsies and MRI guided breast biopsies.
