Founded in 1930, King Kullen is a supermarket chain. The company is recognized by the Smithsonian Institute as America's first supermarket. It offers a snack bar, cafeteria and dry cleaning facility. King Kullen operates pharmacy, produce, bakery, deli, seafood, grocery, floral and meat departments. Its bakery department offers cakes for a variety of occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, communions, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduation ceremonies, bridal and baby showers, confirmations, weddings, home warmings and holidays.
