Dr. Winkler is the System Chief, of the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery: Urogynecology at Northwell Health and Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is in active clinician, as well as and academician. Clinically he manages patients with all types of pelvic floor dysfunction and specifically, patients with pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Dr. Winkler is a skilled surgeon and performs pelvic reconstructive procedures laparoscopically/robotically, abdominally, and vaginally. This ability to perform pelvic floor reconstructive procedures through various routes allows Dr. Winkler the ability to individually tailor treatment options for each patientDr. Winkler is a mentor and trains medical students, residents and fellows and was awarded the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award for Excellence in Resident Education in June of 2012. He is the program director of the ACGME approved Fellowship Program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at North Shore-LIJ. Dr. Winkler is committed to clinical research and has authored and published dozens of peer reviewed articles and has presented his research at national annual scientific meetings.

Dr. Kamini Shah is a rheumatologist who provides comprehensive care to her patients at locations, including Northwell Health Physician Partners Medicine at Rego Park. She is dedicated to utilizing state-of-the-art technology and techniques in her practice, including point-of-care MSK Ultrasound, to accurately assess and diagnose inflammatory arthritides such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, seronegative spondyloarthropathies, crystal arthritis (gout and pseudogout), as well as osteoarthritis and soft tissue rheumatism.Dr. Shah is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds additional certification in Rheumatology. She completed her medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine and went on to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine at Mt Sinai West. Dr. Shah then further specialized in Rheumatology through a three year research and clinical fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.As an Assistant Professor at Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Dr. Shah is committed to educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians. She is a graduate of the USSONAR (Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists) program, where she gained expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Shah serves as a mentor on the Fundamentals Committee for training ultrasound to rheumatologists in the US.Beyond her clinical and academic commitments, Dr. Shah is passionate about advocating for patients and physicians.
