Lior Yosef Shabtai, MD

Dr. DiMauro is a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon and the Director of Pediatric Orthopaedic Education at Cohen s Children s Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He focuses on sports medicine, hip, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscal tears, arthroscopy, osteochondral defects, scoliosis and spinal deformity, spinal fusions, and congenital musculoskeletal anomalies. Dr. DiMauro received his undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY and his fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the Children s Hospital of Boston in Boston, MA.He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He is involved in clinical research as well as teaching and mentoring both medical students and residents. He is fluent in English and Italian.

Dr. Amaral is an Associate Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Cohen s Childrens Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He focuses on scoliosis and pediatric spine surgery, hip reconstruction, fractures, sports medicine, and pediatric foot and ankle disorders.Dr. Amaral received his undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island and his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in the Bronx, NY. He completed his internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University/ Montefiore Medical Center and fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery/New York Hospital/ Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY.He is a fellow of the Scoliosis Research Society, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Medical Association. He is involved in clinical research in pediatric orthopaedics and has published and presented at conferences such as Scoliosis Research Society and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He is also actively involved in mentoring and teaching medical students and residents.

Dr. Tran is a Pediatric Orthopaedic surgeon at Cohen s Children s Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. She has a focus on scoliosis, hip, foot, and ankle, congenital anomalies, neuromuscular conditions, musculoskeletal infections, and trauma. Dr. Tran received her undergraduate degree at Brown University in Providence, RI, and her medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. She completed her internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Albany Medical Center and her fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the internationally renowned Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, TX.She is a member of Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
