He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2020. Following dental school, Dr. Tewolde completed a General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) in 2021, where he gained extensive experience in emergency dentistry, restorative care, and managing medically complex patients. His drive for advanced training led him to pursue a prestigious fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2022, where he worked alongside leading specialists in oncology-related dental care, surgical procedures, and complex case management. This experience strengthened both his technical abilities and his deep compassion for patients undergoing significant medical treatment. Dr. Tewolde joined Aspen Dental in 2023, where he has continued to expand his clinical expertise—particularly in dental implants, an area he is truly passionate about. He has completed multiple continuing education courses focused on implant placement, bone grafting, restoration, and advanced surgical techniques.
