Little Pals Preschool

ABOUT THE SCHOOL: Little Pals Preschool hires only qualified and dedicated staff who share our philosophy and goals. We are a New York State licensed Day Care and NYS Department of Education registered. Therefore, Little Pals has met all stringent safety, health, and educational requirements. Furthermore, under the direction of Angela Nardo, a speech-language pathologist, the staff applies strategies to encourage language development and language use throughout all activities. Our language based curriculum is supported by learning centers throughout each classroom that encourage exploration and creativity, as well as, communication skills. Centers include: Reading, Writing, Math, Pretend Play, Blocks, Fine Motor Manipulations, Sand/Water Table and Arts & Crafts. We have a beautiful, well equipped, fenced in playground that offers lots of fun and gross motor activities. We are very excited that a new staff member has joined our team who possesses certifications in Personal Training and Nutritional Consultations, as well as, a background in classical music! We have always used music and movement in our curriculum, however, now we will be having set periods of physical education and music and incorporating basic yoga and aerobics, as well as, incorporating NYS "Eat Well, Play Hard" program into our curriculum. Our goal is to help develop the child as a whole. We are a New York State Certified Day Carefacility. We offer day care services before and after our preschool programs, as well as, after school care for kindergartners and first graders. Our facility is clean, bright, safe and just minutes from major commuter routes ( i.e. Route 17 and 87-Thruway ). Our hours of operation are 7: 30AM to 6PM, Monday thru Friday. During the summer, we offer Little Pals Summer Camp with themed weeks that promote lots of indoor and outdoor fun. Camp children are involved in sports, water play, music, arts and crafts, as well as center activities. A good time is had by all!
