History

Ian and Marie have been buying and selling vintage clothing since 1994. They started selling Avante Guard clothing on Ebay in 1997, and were Power Sellers for many years before opening LOOK. Aside from their Hudson, NY location, you can sometimes find their booth at the Columbus Avenue Flea Market in NYC, where they were regulars for many years.

Opened in September 2010, LOOK Apparel and Accessories is the newest fashion destination in the region. Catering to a wide array of budgets, LOOK is quickly establishing itself as the store to visit if you want a funky vintage handbag or an exquisite Lanvin tux shirt. A brightly lit and visually attractive store, LOOK has an impressive collection of vintage and designer handbags, shoes, wallets, scarves and hats. The wall space is dominated by colorful vintage jewelry boards that make selecting your favorite pieces fun and easy. LOOK also has a carefully selected collection of archival and previously loved clothing for men and women by designers such as Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and Dries Van Noten. We also carry less-well-known designers like Shirin Guild and Margaret Howell.
