Marwah Abdalla, MD, MPH, is a cardiologist, cardiac intensivist, educator, and scientist with expertise in hypertension, sleep, and cardiovascular health. She is the Florence Irving Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she serves as Director of Education for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Co-Director of the Columbia Hypertension Center. Her research focuses on improving blood pressure measurement and management, developing and testing next-generation devices and wearables, and examining how sleep and circadian rhythms impact cardiovascular health. Nationally, she has served on several American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology guideline and scientific statement writing committees. Dr. Abdalla received her Medical Degree and Masters in Public Health from Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Public Health. She was an Intern, Resident, and Chief Resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She completed her training as a cardiology Fellow and Chief Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and echocardiography. She is a Fellow of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research.

Stephen P. Reis, MD

Dr. Stephen Reis is a board-certified radiologist with specialization in vascular and interventional radiology. He is the chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology and an associate professor of radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He works closely with the physicians at Columbia's Adrenal Center in the diagnosis of primary hyperaldosteronism. Dr. Reis completed his medical school training at New York Medical College and his internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Manhattan. His post-graduate training includes a diagnostic radiology residency at Westchester Medical Center and a vascular-interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Texas—Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He remained on faculty at UT—Southwestern until he was recruited by Columbia University Irving Medical Center for his expertise in cancer care. He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the American College of Radiology (ACR) where he serves on several national quality-improvement committees including the Expert Panel on Vascular Imaging, which is responsible for writing the ACR appropriateness criteria for medical imaging.
