Friends Without A Border is a humanitarian organization founded in 1994 by photographer Kenro Izu, driven by the vision of providing free and compassionate healthcare to children in need. The organization has established two pediatric teaching hospitals in Southeast Asia, including the Lao Friends Hospital for Children, which serves as the only provider of free high-quality healthcare for children in northern Laos.
With a mission to ensure that no parent has to witness their child die due to a lack of affordable medical care, Friends Without A Border is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
