Established in 1935 by Louis Gringer, Allway Tools is an innovator in technology and tool design, with more than 75 patented products in its line. Allway s niche is paint sundries, including saws, blades and utility knives as well as specialized tools for drywall, wallcoverings, ceramic tile, masonry and flooring. Its products include items designed to handle remodeling jobs in overhead and other hard-to-reach areas, that encompass structural foam pole sanders and extension brush holders, all-steel glass scrapers with safety positions, paint mixers with cyclonic action, as well as a line of soft-handle putty knives with stainless steel blades. Allway maintains an 80,000-square-foot plant in Bronx, N.Y. The plant features complete research and development, computer-aided design, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and administrative facilities.
