Naveen Gumpeni, MD

Dr. Laura Melnick received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her medical school degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation from medical school, she completed a pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and, subsequently, a dermatology residency at New York University Medical Center. She then went on to pursue additional training and completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Melnick board certified in dermatology, pediatric dermatology and pediatrics. She specializes in pediatric dermatology and general dermatology and sees both pediatric and adult patients.

Graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte prior to completing my podiatric medical education at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine where I served as a National Delegate for our Student National Podiatric Medical Association as well as a high level of involvement with other medical and surgical organizations. Residency with Northwell Health at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital covering Level 1 trauma centers across multiple counties where I served as Chief Resident as well as winning Outstanding resident of the year during my tenure. Fellowship in Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, FL under the tutelage of Dr. Bradley Lamm at one of the most exclusive and long-standing foot & ankle fellowships in the country. Speaker at multiple national events on Achilles tendon injuries, Ankle instability, minimally invasive bunion surgery, and deformity correction, as well as publishing peer reviewed articles on limb lengthening and minimally invasive surgery. Associate of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, Board Qualified American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstructive and Ankle Surgery.Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine, Board certified American Board of Podiatric Medicine.Member of American Association of Podiatric Sports Medicine.Practiced in a diverse community in Binghamton, NY prior to joining PALP at WCM. Completed 7 marathons and counting. Volunteered at many running events including the NYC marathon serving as a Sports Medicine Physician at the finish line of the race.

Kristen Coffey, M.D. is a board-certified radiologist specializing in Breast and Body Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. She serves as the Director of the Breast Imaging Fellowship Training Program.Dr. Coffey received her M.D. at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in 2013, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Coffey completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine – NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (2014-2018) where she was elected Chief Resident. She then completed a one-year fellowship in Breast and Oncologic Imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She achieved Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology in 2019.Dr. Coffey is experienced in all types of breast imaging, procedures, and diagnoses. She interprets mammography (2D, digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography), breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. She performs image-guided stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies as well as preoperative radioactive seed and wire localizations.Dr. Coffey’s research interests are broad and include contrast-enhanced mammography for screening women with elevated risk and breast imaging artificial intelligence. She serves on several breast imaging society committees and is a reviewer for radiology journals. Dr. Coffey is actively engaged in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was named a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging in 2025.
