Dr. Kalimi joined North Shore Univeristy department of Cardiothoracic Surgery in 2004 after serving as clinical instructer in surgery at Columbia Presbyterian College of Physicians and Surgeons where he specialized in Minimally invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery. He is the editor of "Clinical Scenarios in Thoracic Surgery", and has published several articles in the field of surgery.
