Buffalo Ultrasound, founded in 1987, is one of the first mobile imaging services in western New York to receive accreditation in vascular imaging. The center provides a variety of on-site imaging services to its patients including ultrasound, cardiac studies, vascular imaging, X-ray studies and bone densitometry. Its ultrasound and radiologic technologists are registered through the Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, American Registry of Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographers and the American Registry of Vascular Technologists. The center's X-ray technologists are registered by The New York State Department of Health and the Association of Registered Radiographic Technologists. Buffalo Ultrasound has two locations in Williamsville, Ill., and Buffalo, N.Y.
