Dr. Hankins graduated from Dartmouth College and worked in education for several years before attending medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He completed psychiatry residency at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he was chief resident, and an addiction psychiatry fellowship at New York University.
