Dr. Paul Wright is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in stroke and cerebrovascular disease. As a general neurologist, he helps patients with many types of neurological conditions, including brain recovery from traumatic injuries, movement disorders and cognitive health. As a stroke specialist, he has a deep understanding of stroke prevention, treatments and recovery. Dr. Wright listens to patients and makes complex conditions and treatments easier to understand, helping them focus on healing and feeling supported and confident in their care plans. Dr. Wright is senior vice president and system chair of the Nuvance Health Neuroscience Institute. He is also the John and Joanne Patrick Endowed Chair for Advanced Technology in Neuroscience for his leadership in integrating advanced technology into neurological care at Nuvance Health. He received the Linde Mentorship Award from the Nuvance Health Global Health Academy. He was honored for his exceptional mentorship of international scholars and exemplifying the best of academic medicine and global health.
