The Police Benevolent Association of New York State (PBA of NYS) is a law enforcement labor union that has been proudly protecting communities across New York State since its establishment in 2011. Representing approximately 1,200 members of the New York State Agency Police Services Unit (APSU), the PBA of NYS is dedicated to advocating for the interests of its members and ensuring public safety.

With divisions including the New York State Park Police, New York State University Police, New York State Forest Rangers, and New York State ENCON Police, the PBA of NYS works tirelessly to support its members and provide assistance to their families through the Family Assistance Fund. OMCE Standing Committees Finance and Personnel oversees the financial affairs of OMCE and recommends OMCE staff personnel policies to the Board. Grievance & Legal Defense reviews employment related problems, grievances submitted by members and makes recommendations to the Board regarding items that may warrant intervention by Legal Counsel. Legislative Action develops and monitors OMCE legislative agenda reviews and develops positions on proposed legislation that would affect M/C employees. Works closely with lobbyists on developing member legislative action program. Nominating recruits and recommends potential candidates to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.
