Plant Designs is a family-owned and operated that was founded in 1975 as an outdoor landscaping firm named Penfield Landscape and Nursery (PLAN). The company provides a variety of indoor plants for more than 500 clients, including businesses, office buildings, malls, hospitals and residences. It also creates several display and decor items using silk plants and flowers for major food service clients throughout the United States. Plant Designs range of low-light plants features Janet Craig, warneckie, branched marginata, snake plant and aglaonema. The company also provides a range of pole pothos, red emerald totem, spathiphyllum, hoya, bromeliad and chicken gizzard aralia. With a location in Rochester, N.Y., it also maintains locations in Liverpool and Grand Island, N.Y.
