Established in 1860, The Pleasant Valley Wine Company is one of the leading wine providers in the United States. Also known as Great Western Winery, it is one of the oldest wineries in the Finger Lakes region. Located in Hammondsport, N.Y., the products offered by the firm include Autumn Frost, Caywood Vineyards, Great Western Champagne, Pleasant Valley and Seneca Harbor and in different forms, such as blush, red, sparkling and white. The firm also organizes tour visits to stone winery buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
