Robert M. Bernstein, MD, FAAD, FISHRS

Belena Rivera is our Nurse Practitioner specializing in surgical hair restoration, SMP and PRP. She has been working at Bernstein Medical since 2002. Belena holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing degree, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, from Chamberlain University. Belena is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Nurses Association and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Julie Gessin, RPA-C is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the New York Society of Dermatology PA’s, and the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants. She received her Physician Assistant degree, with a surgical specialization and focus in dermatology, from Weill Cornell Medical College. She graduated as a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society. Julie then completed her Physician Assistant training at several Manhattan hospitals including the New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Brittney Danberry is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in cosmetic and general dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group in New York. Brittney received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin and went on to complete her Master of Clinical Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant studies from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Brittney has had experience with both medical and cosmetic dermatology treatments while working in South Beach, Florida. Some of her experiences includes acne, eczema, rashes, full body skin exams, biopsies, Botox, lasers, and fillers. Brittney is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
