Its founders traveled the world exploring carpet history and contributed to the knowledge and art of re-creating some of the most beautiful rug masterpieces and handmade rugs of the centuries. Recently, Stark acquired Old World Weavers, a leading source in style, craftsmanship and originality. In 1994, Stark announced the addition of Stark Fine Furniture, a line of custom-built furniture designed to showcase the fabrics from its Old World Weavers fabric division. To further enhance the Stark touch, it introduced its Wallcovering division. Located in New York City, Stark also offers custom service, documentation, warehousing and delivery.
