Samantha Lagace, RPA-C

Nina Vlainich, FNP-BC is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical dermatology at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She practices in Altamont, New York. Nina received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College. She then pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Nina worked with Schweiger Dermatology as a Registered Nurse prior to and while obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Prior to Dermatology she worked for several years as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at Albany Medical Center.

Laurie Knapp graduated with her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College in 2021. She earned her Bachelor's degree at the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2017. She practiced in Urgent Care for over two years before joining the practice in 2023.

Dr. Hawash is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Schweiger Dermatology Group. He provides compassionate and skilled care to his patients. A native New Yorker, Dr. Hawash received his undergraduate degree in biology from the New York Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude. He then received his doctoral degree in neuroscience from Wright State University, producing several ground-breaking findings and publications in the field of electrophysiology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University and was inducted into the Academy of Medicine while there.
