Staten Island Mental Health Society is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health and related services to Staten Island children. Staten Island Mental Health Society has three center, including children s community mental health center, day treatment center and teen center. Its children s community mental health center provides services, such as individual and family counseling, special education, child abuse prevention and academic tutoring services. Staten Island Mental Health Society s teen center provides substance abuse treatment programs with counseling, treatment, support, and training in social skills in a nonjudgmental and recreational environment.
