Schuylerville Preparatory High School

Founded in 2002, CUNY Prep is a college preparatory high schol that offers out-of-school youths between the ages of 16 and 18 an opportunity for full-time study for the purposes of re-entering high school. It offers a General Equivalency Diploma for college admissions. The school provides classes in humanities, science, math, physical education and writing. CUNY Prep has partnerships with the City University of New York. It is staffed with teachers, administrators and counselors. CUNY Prep is located in the Bronx, N.Y.

Public School 69, located in Bronx, N.Y., employs more than 60 staff personnel and serves over 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Public School 69, recognized by the New York City Department of Education, has a partnership with Columbia University. The school organizes classroom instruction, teacher training, parent workshops and a student mediation program. Its math curriculum provides information on fractions, ratios and data analysis. The school also offers classes in social studies and physical education. Additionally, Public School 69 provides character education and accelerated reading programs.
