HistoryThe Jam Nest was born when trained vocal coach Nesly K hatched the idea to open a voice studio in the heart of Manhattan, an area surprisingly lacking in musical institutions and venues. But as an artist herself, Nesly wanted to create a spot bigger than just four walls to take voice lessons between. With a multifaceted vision of a cultural hub for people all across the musical spectrum, The Jam Nest came into being: a bona fide community, where new students could become budding artists, budding artists could become accomplished musicians, and accomplished musicians could meet and showcase their work.SpecialtiesWe're a multifaceted music & arts space, and a cultural hub for New York City's music community. By day, we offer top-tier voice lessons for beginner and intermediate singers. At night and on the weekends, we host open mics, jam sessions, and more.
