Shades of Green Pub is located in the heart of Union Square, just a few steps from the Irving Plaza Concert Venue. They opened their doors over 30 years ago and serve traditional Irish dishes along with other delicious items such as a tasty burger and buffalo wings and have one of the best pints of Guinness in town! They also have a private party room available for groups of up to 150 people.

I waited to long to get a beer. I wasn't even acknowledged. Two guys behind the bar, one free walking right by me a few times. No eye contact, no engagement. Maybe my "kind" wasn't wanted here. Oh...

Decent place, decent crowd. Love the bartenders, very friendly, welcoming. The drinks are good and strong !

Do not come. Bartenders incredibly rude. Food is terrible. And to top it off, the Guinness stinks.
