SUNY Plattsburgh

State University of New York Plattsburgh has been operational for more than 75 years. The university is one of the oldest universities in the United States. Located in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the university offers bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of courses. It serves more than 5,000 students annually, and offers over 40 intercollegiate, intramural and recreation sports for men and women. Its curriculum includes liberal arts education, vocational and instrumental music, professional studies and teacher education, elementary and secondary education, reading and instructional technology, media management, English and mathematics, business management, economics, world history, neuroscience, childhood education, mass communication, agricultural and industrial arts, and foreign languages and literatures. It provides various student services, such as educational opportunity programs, academic and financial support, personal and career counseling, support services for learning-challenged students, free tutoring, computer-assisted instruction, writing and study skills seminars, job placement, internships, and honors programs.
