The Body Shop

History

The Body Shop Tattoo was started in 2007 by Gregg Cuthbert, a long time tattoo artist and piercer in the area, and was joined by Alisa Beardslee, an up and coming tattoo artist at the time. Originally, the Body Shop was located in the Marketplace Mall on Main St., Cortland. Although, they enjoyed their time in the mall, it was obvious that they needed to get out on the street and be more visible to their customers. They decided to make the move in 2010 to Groton Ave. where there are today. The Body Shop may seem young, only about 7yrs old, but don't be fooled. The staff has a combined experience of almost 40yrs in the industry and they are truly dedicated to their craft. They are more concerned with quality over quantity and not out to just make a quick buck.
