The Empowerment Opportunity

The Empowerment Opportunity is a group therapy practice in Manhattan, NY. The practice treats depression, anxiety, trauma & life transitions. We are LGBTQ+ friendly. We treat adults, adolescents and children both in person and virtually. We utilize many approaches including EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Trauma-Focused CBT, Play Therapy and Attachment-Focused EMDR, and Art Therapy. We believe in treating people holistically and use both left brain (the verbal and logical side) and right brain (the emotional and creative side) approaches as integrating both sides of the brain is optimal for mental wellness. Dr. Mary McCluskey is the author of two children's books.
