I've yet to have a visit to ANY Mermaid Inn that isn't great, and the Chelsea location is no exception. It's one of my favorite happy hours in town--who can beat $1.50 oysters and $10 cocktails?...

The Mermaid Inn is a warm, friendly, casually sophisticated neighborhood meeting place for dining, drinking and socializing. We serve seafood inspired from the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean. All our food is extremely fresh. “From the sea to the table” is how we like to put it. Happy hour Monday-all day, Tuesday-Sunday from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. $1.50 oysters & clams, drink specials and Mermaid favorites like our fish tacos, shrimp sliders and more.
