It is a journey and an adventure to achieve that smile and Dr. Chu is there to guide her patients along the way. Dr. Chu has two convenient office locations. One is in New York City, right between Chinatown and Tribeca, with easy access to public transportation. The other location is in Westport, CT.Born in New York City and raised in Westport, Dr. Chu has deep roots in the communities she serves. She moved into the family business and practiced alongside her father, Dr. Naitan Chu for a number of years immediately after dental school. Yon Lai, DDS, PC, is a thorough, compassionate orthodontist treating patients in all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, New Jersey, and all surrounding areas. He sees patients at House of Braces, with locations in Flushing, Queens, and the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City.Dr. Lai received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University in 1989. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Lai has successfully treated thousands of patients in his private office as well as at NYU College of Dentistry where he has been a Clinical Professor in the Orthodontics Department for many years. Aside from teaching at NYU, he also often delivers seminars internationally. He uses the latest in orthodontic technology, including Invisalign, state-of-the-art imaging systems, and the acceleration of tooth movement. He also provides jaw surgery consultations. As a detail-oriented, precise practitioner, Dr. Lai strives for the best result in every case, in a reasonable amount of time. When he is not in the office or delivering seminars, Dr. Lai enjoys driving, playing the keyboard, and windsurfing.
