I'd give them a 0 star if possible! My husband and I have had our homeowners and umbrella policy with Utica First since 2018 or so. Yesterday they sent us notification they will not renew us...

This would be zero stars if possible, unfortunately. Long story short, I had a water system put in my house that leaked and caused major damage in my kitchen and multiple rooms in the basement....

Horrible. Just horrible. Never had a claim. Now after several years I get a cancellation notice because of a wood stove. Not even used. And my policy had gone up considerably a year ago.

Terrible company to deal with. Would never recommend to anyone who expects their insurance company do anything more than just take your premiums.
