Newly recruited to the Neurology Department at Lenox Hill Hospital/ Northwell Health, Samir Alkabie, MD is a dual fellowship-trained neurologist with expertise in Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology. His scope of practice encompasses the diagnostic evaluation and clinical management of an ever-expanding spectrum of neuroinflammatory disorders including central nervous system (CNS) demyelinating diseases, autoimmune encephalitis, stiff person spectrum disorders, paraneoplastic syndromes, primary CNS vasculitis, neuro-rheumatologic disorders, neurotoxicity associated with cancer immunotherapies, neuroinfectious diseases, and genetic autoinflammatory diseases. He is devoted to delivering compassionate, exemplary care to patients and their families alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team of providers. He has primary research interests in improving early and accurate diagnosis of autoimmune neurologic disorders, their treatment, and outcome prediction.
Andrew Arun Moses, MD, MA
Andrew A. Moses, MD, MA is Assistant Professor in Nephrology and the Point of Care Ultrasound Director for Nephrology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He practices at Lenox Hill Hospital in the Northwell Health Physician Partners Kidney and Hypertension clinic. Dr. Moses received his medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, graduating in 2016.
