The Worldwide Pentecostal Church of Christ (WPCC) was founded by Rev. John E. Ayudtud in March 1984 in Caloocan City, Philippines, later establishing a presence in the United States. Bishop John, along with his family, initiated the U.S. branch in Jersey City, New Jersey, in 1989, starting with a small congregation predominantly consisting of family members.

Over the years, WPCC expanded its reach, with works in various locations such as Alaska, Seattle, California, Japan, Australia, and Jerusalem. In the U.S., the church's headquarters is based in Staten Island, New York, where Rev. Lemuel Jones Ayudtud serves as the Pastor-in-charge. The church at 3980 Victory Blvd. in Staten Island welcomes a congregation of around 60 registered members.

In addition to its stateside presence, WPCC maintains a strong foothold in the Philippines, with numerous churches across the country. The church's Philippine headquarters, under the leadership of Rev. Ronnie B. Ayudtud, boasts a membership of 600 individuals, with a fully paid building and 11 ministers serving as Trustees.
