The YMCA of Putnam Valley, N.Y., is one of North Americas more than 2,400 nonprofit community organizations that work to meet the needs of people of all faiths, races, abilities and incomes. It offers a cardiovascular wellness center, provisions for group exercises, a strength-training center that features circuit and free weights, treadmills, steppers and recumbent and upright bicycles. During pool time, my 4 year old forgot his life jacket back at the changing cabin. Instead of them going back to get the jacket the counselors told my four year old he had to sit out of pool time....

Stumbled upon their Fall Festival last month. My daughter had the best time at this little festival. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Can't wait for next year! :)
