SCOPE Education Services is a nonprofit, private organization chartered by the New York State Board of Regents that provides services to school districts. Founded in 1964, the organization is governed by school superintendents and college representatives and serves as a regional school study council and school board institute. Located in Smithtown, N.Y., it offers a variety of school-based summer and before- and after-school child care programs. SCOPE Education Services also provides year-round enrichment, second language, and gifted and talented education programs. The organization s programs include student tutorial and outdoor education. It additionally offers interim placement and adult and continuing education programs.

St. Patrick School is an educational institution that serves students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It conducts classes in art, music and physical education. The school provides special education program for students with special needs. St. Patrick School supports various athletic activities, such as cross country, basketball, basketball, soccer and hockey. It also offers career guidance and health care services.
