Trans World Radio is one of the most far-reaching Christian radio networks in the world. It offers programs in more than 200 languages and its dialects are aired from more than 2,700 broadcasting outlets throughout the world, including 14 international transmitting sites, satellite, cable, Internet and local AM and FM stations. TWR maintains strategic partnerships in 40 countries with more than 200 organizations, including Thru the Bible, Insight for Living, In Touch, Leading the Way and Back to the Bible. TWR was founded in 1952 and is based in Cary, N.C. Its first broadcast was aired in 1954 from a 2,500-watt transmitter in Tangier, Morocco.
