Acceleration Academies LLC

Formed in 1984, North Carolinians for Home Education is a volunteer organization, protecting the right to freely home educate in North Carolina. Located in Raleigh, N.C., the organization also supports and encourages home educators. It also monitors legislative activity, ensuring the freedom to homeschool is protected. Additionally, the group provides interviews for organizations and media to promote homeschooling. North Carolinians for Home Education has partnerships with Triangle Education Assessments and Bayside School Services.

The Fletcher Academy is an independent, coeducational day school for more than 110 students in grades 1 through 12. It offers a variety of academic and recreational programs for children with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders. Founded in 1981, the school teaches various subjects, including social studies, fine arts, foreign languages, and physical education and health. It conducts classes in graphic and Web design, video production, Internet exploration and technology education. The school provides lessons in language arts, math and science. It organizes field trips, summer camps and picnics. The Fletcher Academy promotes the development of social skills through teacher modeling, direct discussion and behavioral contracting services. The school is located in Raleigh, N.C.
