Operational since 1974, Canplast has been one of the leading suppliers of polymer edgebanding and adhesive systems for the woodworking industry in North America. Founded in 1965, Southern Film Extruders is one of the leading producers of polyethylene film for the packaging industry. The company provides a broad range of films for various packaging and manufacturing applications, including shrink films, release sheets, masking films, laminations and skin packaging. It serves various industries, such as converter film, cosmetics, frozen foods, general packaging, poultry and meat. Additionally, Southern Film Extruders serves the lamination, lawn and garden, sleeve film and textile industries. It offers a wide range of films using low-density, linear low-density, medium-density, metallocene types and various blends of these resins. Southern Film Extruders is located in High Point, N.C.

Envision Plastics is a national supplier and producer of recycled high-quality HDPE fractional melt resins. Its PRISMATM technology makes the company one of the leaders in providing color-specific resins made to customers' specifications. It has plant locations on both coasts, with shipping capabilities throughout the United States. Envision Plastics was created in June 2001 when the FCR and Union Carbide plastic recycling plants were purchased by Parmass Holdings. Envision upgraded and expanded the FCR plant in Reidsville, N.C., integrating the Union Carbide equipment. After the expansion, the Reidsville plant grew from nearly 40 employees and an output of nearly 2 million pounds per month in 2001, to nearly 60 employees and more than 4 million pounds per month in 2005.
