Hiten Patel, MD, believes the caring for children, adults and grandparents is a special privilege in family medicine, and he is delighted to provide care for multiple generations and to patients from a wide variety of backgrounds. Dr. Patel focuses on prevention before disease starts, and enjoys helping patients establish habits of healthy nutrition, greater physical activity and emotional well-being. Dr. Patel grew up in Charlotte and is an avid Carolina Panthers fan. He also enjoys watching the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, playing the guitar, hiking, camping and spending time with his wife and two daughters. His patients, Dr. Patel says, are like a second family to him.
