Charlotte Country Day School

Providence Day School, founded in 1970, is an independent, coeducational college preparatory school spread over an area of more than 40 acres. It offers education to more than 1,400 students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, foreign languages, history, computer science, fine arts, and physical and health education. The sports activities offered by the school include volleyball, soccer, hockey, cross country, tennis, cheerleading and football. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities to students, including gymnastics, journalism, piano and dance lessons, rock climbing, guest lectures and field trips. Providence Day School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and is located in Charlotte, N.C.
