Craven County School District

The Epiphany School of Global Studies is founded on three guiding principals– College Preparatory, Global Studies and Open-Hearted Faith – all of which are intended to work in concert to create an enriching educational experience for students.

Craven County Schools serves nearly 15, 000 students through its more than 40 elementary, middle and high schools. The district also governs the Craven Early College, an autonomous high school that provides its students with a high school diploma and up to two years of college credit toward a bachelor s degree and an associate s degree. The district has various departments, including administration, business, human resources, information technology, instructional services and system improvement and strategic planning. The instructional services department provides a variety of student and health services, federal and employee wellness programs and support services. Craven County Schools is located in New Bern, N.C.

Tucker Creek Middle School offers education to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, music, physical education and Spanish. The school also provides instructions in band, keyboarding, art, chorus and Spanish. Additionally, it offers a range of athletic activities that include wrestling, football, golf, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading, soccer, and track and field. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular programs that include student government association, yearbook, newspaper staff and science Olympiad. Tucker Creek Middle School is a part of Craven County Schools, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students and is located in Havelock, N.C.
