Jody Thomasson is the Vice President-Small Business Banker for SouthState Bank in Wilmington, NC, covering New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender Counties, with his primary office located at the Military Cutoff location. Jody has established a strong reputation in consumer/wealth, small business, and commercial banking. He attended Appalachian State University, where he obtained a BSBA with a major in Finance and Real Estate. In addition to his 25+ years in banking, he has over 10 years of experience coaching baseball at the little league, middle school, high school, and travel levels, achieving several local, state, and national championships. The most rewarding experience was taking his team to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip.
