Franciscan School

The Franciscan School, opened in 2000, serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, mathematics, history, science, fine arts, industrial technology, and health and physical education. The school s curriculum also includes instruction in computer application, music and band. It additionally conducts classes in faith studies. The Franciscan School promotes physical development of the students by organizing various sports programs, such as basketball, soccer, cheerleading and softball. The school s extracurricular activities include spelling bee, safety patrols and student government. It also provides counseling services to students. The Franciscan School, a part of St. Francis of Assisi, is located in Raleigh, N.C.
