Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
In 1858, farmer Stephen Fuquay discovered the natural spring that anchors Fuquay-Varina Mineral Spring Park. The natural spring was soon developed into a tourist attraction that brought thousands of visitors throughout the first part of the 20th Century. Located near downtown Fuquay, the Mineral Springs Park offers an easily accessible open space with a restored Springhouse, memorial brick path, picnic tables, footbridge, and finely manicured landscaping.

Small, simple relaxing park. Interesting history, very quaint. Walking distance from Downtown Quay, good place to pick up a bite to eat and sit out for lunch.
